Engraving
All my brass Sundials can be engraved with a motto or inscription to mark a birthday, anniversary, wedding or any significant event.
The base plate or rings of the Armillary Spheres can all be engraved and the solid brass will ensure the inscription is  permanent.
The brass wall Sundial is particularly suitable for engraving as the lower part of the face plate is left plain for this purpose.

Engraving is charged extra at cost and this depends on how many letters you have and their size.

Mottos
It is very traditional to have a motto engraved on a sundial and many will be in Latin. Feel free to make up your own, use Shakespeare, the bible or search the web for one that suits.
